adopted 25 March 2005.
Flagdescription: 5 horizontal stripes red, yellow, black, yellow, red,
in center a blue vertical stripe of 1/3 flaglength charged with a white
windmill roofed red with yellow wings.
"This windmill, the most renowned of the structures of its kind in
this country, is located below the White Carpathians. The facility milled
flour for local farmers from 1842 to 1946. The 10-metre high, Dutch-type
windmill contains authentic technical furnishings, including two millstones.
Visitors can also explore the adjacent outbuildings and residential buildings
dating from the turn of the 20th century, which are today home to a permanent
exhibition illustrating the lifestyle in the horácko area and agricultural
tools."
