"This village, which lent its name to famous caves, lies at the foot of Zlatý kůn Hill in the heart of the Bohemian Karst. Visitors to Koněprusy, first mentioned in annals dating from 1391, can inspect a small 19th-century chapel or explore the location`s surroundings featuring the Kobyla nature reserve and the remains of a Celtic fortified settlement called Kotýz with rock gates."
