Colegio de La Salle, Bogotá, Colombia (La Salle School, Bogota) - This is my school, so I know how
the flag looked like, and I checked with a black and white
picture. A yellow field with a blue band bellow, in the
middle there is the Star of the school (every La Salle
institution has its own star), with the words COLEGIO DE LA SALLE
above the star and BOGOTA bellow.

The College is located in Baranquilla. Its flag is
(apparently) square, horizontally divided light blue - light
pink.

Here is the flag of the Colegio Departamental Julio César
Sánchez García, in Anapoima (Cundinamarca). The flag was
officialized after a concourse, in 1998, and have a version with
the 1998 Coat of Arms and 2001 Coat of Arms.

The College was founded in 1946 as Escuela (School) Federico
Ozanam. I have not been able to find out where it is located,
however. Frédéric Ozanam (Milano, 1813 - Marseilles, 1853) was
a French historian and writer. In 1833, he founded the St.
Vincent-de-Paul Society. He rejoined the French Republic in 1848
and founded with Lacordaire the Christian-Democrat newspaper
L'Ere Nouvelle (The New Era, 1848-1849).
The flag of the College is described but not shown as
horizontally divided yellow-blue (amarillo-azul). Therefore I
have used default 2:3 proportion in my image.

The Instituto Virrey Solis was founded in Bucaramanga on 3
February 1941 by members of the Franciscan Community. Its goal
was to provide poor children with a religious, moral and material
education. The first director of the Instituto was Friar Emilio
Bautista Lozano (1941-1944). The flag of the Colegio is
horizontally divided yellow-red with the coat of arms of the
Colegio in the middle. Yellow and green are the colours of the
municipal flag of Bucaramanga. Yellow stands for the treasures of
knowledge, science, feelings and values. Green stands for the
hope that the youth educated in the Colegio will build a new
society mainly based on justice and peace; green also staznds for
the love of nature, the legacy of the patron saints of the
ecologists, St. Francis of Assise. The crown above the shield
stands for the man who gave his name to the Collegio, the Virrey
Solis (the Sun Vice-Roy?), and symbolizes leadership. The collar
surrounding the shied has three knots symbolizing the three vows
of obedience, poverty and chastity done by the members of the
community that rules the Colegio. Over a background with the
colours of our flag (yellow and green), the cross symbolizes the
Christian denomiunation of the Colegio. An arm holding a torch
appears from the bottom of the shield, expression learning,
knowledge and enlightment. The scroll below the shield bears the
Colegio's motto Virtud y Ciencia (Virtue and Science),
which are the basis of the education in the Colegio. The anthem
of the Colegio has its third stanza dedicated to the flag of the
Collegio: "Como un campo de esmeralda que la aurora
en luz baño, verde y oro, sacro emblema nuestra ruta ilumino.
verde y oro! flota altivo Nuestro fúlgido pendón: Esperanza y
luz del cielo que ilumina el corazón!" (Like a field
of emeralds Bathed in the light of dawn, Green and gold, sacred
emblem illuminate our way Green and gold! May our ? banner flay:
Hope and light of the sky Which illuminate the heart!).

The flag of the Franciscan College Fray Rafael de la Serna is
horizontally divided yellow-green. From the flying flag shown on
<www.frayrafael.edu.co>,
located by Dov Gutterman, the default proportion of the
flag seems to be 1:2.
The college was founded in 1941 in Medellin,
Antioquia and its first name was Instituto Cristobal Colon. By
ministerial order #1610 from 6 June 1953, the college was renamed
as a tribute to the Franciscan friar who founded the University
of Antioquia. Yellow symbolizes the wealth of [mente], spîrit
and department of Antioquia. Green
symbolizes the hope in the youth and the exuberant vegetation of
Antioquia. It is said that the dimensions of the flag are
precise, but not what they are indeed.

Colegio Lacordaire (Cali) - 2:3 flag, horizontally divided

located by Dov Gutterman, gives a detailed explanation
of the colour symbolics (in Spanish): Black and white are colours
specific to the Dominican Order. Yellow is specific to the
Collegio Lacordaire. Black is the colour of penitence and
mortification, necessary to reach triumph and perfection, black
absorbs light as well as prayer, study and communitiy life absorb
truth. White is the colour of purity, joy, truth etc. and
constitutes the invisible armour that shall protect the young
students from error and evil. Yellow is the colour of light and
spiritual wealth etc.
More information from 'Petit Larousse Illustre': The Dominican
Order (also called Order of Preaching Friars) was founded in 1215
by St. Dominic, a Castilan monk (c.1170-1221, canonized in 1234)
and confirmed by Pope Honorius III in 1216. The Order was founded
to fight the Cathar heresy, and its rule was a community
democratic life totally devoted to predication of God's World.
Henri Lacordaire (1802-1861) was a French priest who took the
Dominican cloth in 1827 and restored the Order in France in 1830.
He was elected deputy in Marseilles in 1848 and founded the
Christian-Democrat review 'L'Ere Nouvelle' ('The New Era'),
Because of the political troubles of May-June 1848, he abandoned
politics and journalism and devoted the rest of his life to the
restoration of the Dominican Order, establishing several schools
and colleges.

Colegio La Trinidad (Institución Educativa Rural La Trinidad)
is located in the village of La Trinidad, Municipality
of Manizales, Department of Caldas. The flag of the Colegio is
horizontally divided yellow-white. Yellow represents work, effort
and commitment, whereas white represents purity. Yellow (border)
and white (field) are also the colours of the shield of the
Colegio.

The Army College Jose Maria Cordoba is located in Medellin.
Its flag is horizontally divided red-green with the shield of the
College in the middle. The shield of the College is silver, with
an escutcheon made of a vertical national flag, charged with a
rifle and a sword crossed in saltire. There is a brown scroll on
the upper part of the shield and another one below the
escutcheon. MEDELLIN is written in brown letters below hte latter
scroll. The image is incomplete. The upper scroll should bear
COLEGIO MILITAR and the lower scroll JOSE MARIA CORDOBA, with
dark brown letters

This College was founded by the Jesuits in 1968. It is named
after St. Louise de Marillac (1591-1660), who founded in Paris
the order of the Daughters of Charity with St. Vincent de Paul
(1581-1660). The flag of the College is diagonally divided
white-blue with the emblem of the College in canton. The emblem
includes a yellow star, an open book, a handshake and a torch,
and is surrounded by a blue ring bearing in white the name of the
College and its year of foundation.
