Overview

Herrán is a municipality in Norte de Santander Department. It was founded on 6 November 1860.
The flag of Herrán is horizontally divided white-green white.
Information in Spanish: "Ideada por el licenciado Jaimes Vega, de tres franjas horizontales de identica medida: Una superior blanca, una intermedia verde y una inferior blanca. El color blanco en símbolo de los valores como la honradez, el espíritu pacífico de las gentes de Herrán, el color verde, representa la laboriosidad y la constancia."
