Overview

Cumbitara is a municipality in the Nariño Department. The flag of Cumbitara is horizontally divided with 12 alernating green-white stripes, with a yellow canton that is charged with stylized mountain ridge symbolizing the Andes.
Information in Spanish:
"El recuadro de color amarillo, significa la riqueza aurifera de la Región, las tres figuras geometricas en forma de triangulo significan la majestuosidad de la cordillera de los Andes en el departamento de Nariño. Sus seis franjas verdes horizontales he intercaladas, significa La gran riqueza de flora y y fauna de la region y Sus seis franjas blancas horizontales he intercaladas, significa la nobleza y la trnsparecia del espiritu de sus pobladores"
