Overview

San Alberto is municipality (since 20 May 1955) in Cesar Department.
The flag of San Alberto is diagonally divided (bottom hoist to upper fly) golden yellow-forest green with border stripe in sky-blue (wikipedia show it, wrongly as black stripe). The flag is charged with African Palm and five white stars around it. The stars represent the five "corregimientos" (sub-municipal entities) of this municipality.
Information in Spanish:
"AMARILLO ORO: Evoca el color maduro de las espigas del arroz y adorno esplendoroso del verano.
FRANJA AZUL CIELO: Simboliza nuestro río San Alberto del Espíritu Santo, nos baña y es nuestro principal recurso hídrico
VERDE SELVA: Enaltece la riqueza de nuestro suelo fecundo por naturaleza.
LA PALMA AFRICANA: Es y será siempre nuestro principal renglón económico y fuente de progreso.
LAS CINCO ESTRELLAS BLANCAS: Representan nuestros bellos corregimientos, emporios de Paz y amor campesino. (La Llana, La Palma, Puerto Carreño, El Líbano y La Trinidad)."
