Overview

The municipality of Padilla is in Cauca Department. This former part of Corinto, became a municipality on 30 November 1967.
The flag of Padilla is horizontally divided white-red-green (same colors as Corinto, but in different order).
Information in Spanish:
"La bandera, esta dividida en tres franjas de color blanco, rojo, verde, que simbolizan:
El verde, los fecundos cañales
El blanco, la paz y la armonía
El rojo, la fervor de la sangre"
