The Flag

Palmar de Valera is a municipality in Department of Atlantico, Colombia. It was founded on 23 October 1856.
The flag of Palmar de Valera is horizontal green-white-blue. On top of the page there is a version charged with the coat of arms.
Information in Spanish:
"EL VERDE: Simboliza la vegetación de Palmar y la esperanza de un mejor futuro.
EL BLANCO: Simboliza la Paz por que nuestro Municipio es pacífico, tolerante y cristiano.
EL AZUL: Simboliza el cielo radiante de nuestro Municipio pleno de ilusión, resplandeciente y las aguas del Magdalena que bañan por el Oriente al Pueblo refrescando sus asoleadas tierras."
