Wha Ti

Unequal triband of dark blue, white and dark blue charged on the white area with a local badge. This badge consists of a pair of crossed snow shoes upon which is lying a marten and a bunch of angled small fish; beside the Great Slave Lake.

Wha Ti (meaning "excrement lake"), with a population of 418 (as of 1996), was formerly known as Lac La Martre, and is located at 63°08'N lat. and 117°06'W long., on the NW-most border of the Great Slave Lake. Local languages are Dogrib and English, and the community belongs to the electoral district of North Slave and to land claim area of Dogrib.
