The flag of of Ibaiti was designed by César Luiz da Silva Pereira.
It is divided into three horizontal stripes, yellow, white, and green, the
white taking up half the hoist.
The yellow stripe represents the "exuberance of the municipality and the
wealth produced by the labor of its children." White is for the peace and
brotherhood (love of neighbor) "that rules in the community." Green
represents the forest, agriculture, and hope. The municipal coat of arms is on the center.

It is worth pointing out that the field is an inverted version of the flag of
the Juliana Republic of nearby Santa Catarina (1839-40).
The flag seems to have been adopted in about 1970.
