The Wynnum Manly Yacht Club was founded in 1963. Its current membership is 600.
The burgee of the WMYC is horizontally divided white-red. A black letter W and a white letter M are placed in upper and lower canton, respectively.

There is also a companion Wynnum Manly Sailing Club (WMSC) hosted by the WMYC. The burgees of the two clubs seem to be differentiated by the letters, which are in Italics for WMYC and in Roman for WMSC. The website of WMYC/WMSC shows those two slightly different burgees, hoping it is not an artistic licence.
