Blue, a white saltire, in the center a white disk with a blue D.
(D for Dodero, I assume.)

(There is) a variant, per saltire blue (left and right triangles) and
white (upper and lower triangles), a white blue-rimmed oval in the
centre bearing a red 'D'.

Compañía Argentina de Navegación Dodero. This appears to be a post WW2 successor to Compañia Argentina de Navegación Mihanovich Ltda. with a connection with their managers Agencia Maritima Dodero S.A. According to one source they were nationalized 29.7.1957 with a change of name to Flota Argentina de Navegacion de Ultramar but their name still shows briefly in Lloyds in the early 1960s for ownership of 1 vessel and this may explain the flag shown here as earlier sources of Talbot-Booth 1949 and Stewart 1953 show a diagonal quartered flag of white and blue with overall a white horizontal oval, outlined blue, bearing a red "D" [see image].

Compañía Argentina de Navegación (N. Mihanovich
Ltda.), formed by Nicholas Mihanovich — it eventually became
Compañia Argentina de Navegación Mihanovich Ltda. and adopted a diagonally
quartered flag of white (chief) and blue bearing the letters "C" (chief),
"A" (hoist), "N" (fly) and "L" (base) all counterchanged [see image].

CIAMAR is Compania Argentina de Transportes Maritimos SA, based
in Buenos Aires. The company is still active. The flag is 4:7, with a
geometric patterns difficult to describe. The main element of the flag
is a central red rectangle bearing the company acronym in white.

#376. Sud Atlantica Soc. Anon. de Nav. - Buenos AiresRed flag with a white lozenge nearly touching the edges of the flag. A blue anchor in the middle with S and A, in blue, on either side of the anchor, respectively.
Shipping lines: Buenos Aires - La Plata, Brazil Cargo and passenger steamboats: 8 Tonnage: ca 10,000 Regt. brutto.
Sud Atlantica Sociedad Anonima de Navegaçion [sic!]: Operated
pre WW1 with Lloyds 1904 [llo04] indicating
that it was operated by Miguel Mihanovich, it appears to
have ceased operations around 1930. Talbot-Booth in his 1936 books
[tbb36] shows the flag under
Compañia Sud-Americana de Vapores in error.

In the 1930 Larousse Commercial house flag pages
[hok30] this flag — red with white
diamond, its four points touching the flag’s edges; in the diamond,
a blue upright anchor (without rope) accompanied by blue letters S and A,
left and right of the stock respectively — is misidentified as that of
Cia SudAmericana de Vapores, Valparaiso.

Ultramar Group is a port agency serving shippers in ports in
Peru, Chile, Argentina,
Brazil, and Uruguay. The
site shows the company's house flag, per saltire white and blue with a
blue ring surrounding a white disk on the center, and the letter U on it
in blue.

The World Salvage Directory
(http://www.marine-salvage.com/wsd_int.htm)
of the International Salvage Union (ISU) lists the member companies and
show the house flag of some of them (on each individual company page,
linked from the directory). The flag of Remocaldores Ultragas Ltda.
is divided per saltire blue-white-blue-white, with the letter "U" in
blue enclosed in a blue circle, in the middle.

the ring is black and the "U" is blue: Apart from the color difference, the
ratio is slightly more oblong (5:8 instead of ~2:3), and the ring and "U" are
thinner.
