Presentation of Puka

The city of Puka (or Pukë), located 30 km east of Shkodra, is the capital city of a district in northern Albania (1,034 sq. km; 50,300 inhabitants in 1990). It was known in the antiquity as Epicaria. The poet from Shkodra Migjeni stayed there for a while during his short life.

Flag of Puka

A photography published on the website of the Presidency of the Republic, captioned "President Moisiu in a meeting in the City Hall of Puka", shows the national flag and emblem of Albania and (most probably) the municipal flag of Puka. That flag vertically divided green-red with in the middle a square light blue panel charged with a white bird (definitively not the Albanian eagle).
